Fantasy Earth Zero Fan Art Contest

Whoa... I finally managed to finish it.. haha.
I was having a rough time since my computer crashed.

My Theme is "LION"

And here we are!
Meet Leonidas! My concept for imaginary WARRIOR character from the online game FANTASY EARTH ZERO by Square Enix. He looks more like some final boss from RPG game, but this is just what came to my mind about "the perfect warrior should look like", even though its not perfect at all :headbang:

This concept sheet contains:

1. The Upper Images: Leonidas when he reach level 50 (the lion armor is a lot more heavier and the swords are bigger so that he could slay dragon).
2. Ten Expressions
3. The Lower images: Leonidas when he still a Novice. He hold two swords; Lions Roar and Raging Beast, plus a Shield (Fang Beraker). On the right corner is just an alternative outfit design.
4. A few of Leonidas weapon design.

So Leonidas is an ordinary warrior from a faraway kingdom who wants to be a great warrior. He's like a templar somehow, holding great armor along with a giant sword. As well as being skilled with his 1H sword, Leonidas is also an expert at using 2H Sword! His giant sword called Lion Slayer and is used as defense as well as attack force, and he could move at amazing speed when he use 1H sword. His favorite skills are Thousand Thrust and Ground Zero, two massive killing skill. He is a warrior who will fight to gain peace.

So thats how it is. I've had a lot of fun designing him. Hope you guys like it. Thanks.

Just amazing, the way i like the warriors, you just captured it.... Would you mind if in a near future i create a 3D artwork of your concept? I would of course credit you.

where to begin? like the style, the armor designs, the weapon designs. i think the thing I sort of dislike is the hair, but that's seem too trivial to even matter. very nicely done. keep it up.

everything about this concept is exceptionally beautiful..truly professional in delivery. Though in my opinion, as a major Square fan, I can see a lot of the details and design specially in the character and the armory/weaponry concepts are majorly inspired by Square Enix.. I just thought that since it is a contest held for Square..it would be a major plus if you'd give it something of your own that would propose a fresher look. Altogether.. I still love this work, and gooduck. ;)

The black and white images make me instantly think of Cloud Strife of FF7 especially due to the haircut, the one-sided armor, and the giant buster-like sword. This being said I still love the design and the extra details put into this, and the character looks rather awesome.
